The Key Concepts
Takt-Time
This is the time available per day divided by the number of units sold per day.
Work Sequence
The order of operations of how a job is done.
Work in Process
Refers to the minimum WIP needed to perform repetitive operations
Determine standard work for each member
There can be no improvement in the absence of standards.
NORMAL and ABNORMAL phenomena need to be clearly defined for repeatable operator motion and sequences.
Determine Kanban size and rules
